Informative Animal Texts

This unit will explicitly step students through the skills of identifying and creating features of non-fiction texts. It uses the theme of animals and incorporates a range of exciting factual and hybrid texts. Students will use a variety of fun ways to learn how to write facts, research, draw diagrams and make models. These lessons can also be completed as a stand alone lesson and with another text of choice.
